Astro Battleground 2009 had once again invited Bobby Tan to become the honor judge of this TV street dance competition.
The audition took place in front of Sunway Pyramid main entrance. Audition started at about 1.30pm with a total of 32 teams from Klang Valley, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Penang, etc.
Judges involved Marcus Tucker (USA), Bobby Tan (Street Nation), Zero (GBC) and Boojae (Floor Fever).
FAMOUS STRIKE, competing members including AD, Eric, Nic, Von and Yvonne, first time ever in Astro Battleground except for Nic (previously iL'Corsa) and Von (previously collaborated with Colabo Red aka Mustang), although had won 3 competitions but their team age is only 5 months old since early April 2009. They still have many things to learn. So here is a good chance for them to meet more dancers and receive knowledge from different states of dancers.
They had their number at 126, 26th team of the audition. They had a good comment from Marcus and their performance was one of the best shows. After FAMOUS STRIKE was a team called Freak Soul, consists of 2 gals and 2 guys whose dance style is feminine style. Nic was pulled by host Ngan Mei Yan to battle with the guys. Great job.
Katoon Network, competing members including Kim, Kelvin, Alex, Celica and Hazmi (Floor Fever), a great collaboration, who scored the highest in the audition. Great job!
Audition ended around 4pm. Bobby attended a press conference and discussion to decide which 16 teams will enter Preliminary 1 and 2.
